Please don't be one of those people who claim that a calm and rational
discussion is threatening and upsetting. We are better than that.
However, you could certainly suggest that the productive and/or
interesting part of the conversation has probably passed, and that
there's little point in continuing it any further.
On *that* I would tend to agree with you.

Please don't try to apply that kind of label. It's a primitive form of
Ad Hominem which doesn't really do much but cheapen the debate.
